Why Clean SVG Vectors Outperform Raster Formats in Modern Web Apps
Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) define shapes, strokes, and gradients through mathematical formulas rather than rigid pixel grids. A typical SVG icon generated by our engine weighs under 1.2 kilobytes uncompressed. When served over modern HTTP/3 with Brotli compression, that payload drops to approximately 350 bytes—less than the size of a standard web cookie.
Inline SVG vs. External <img> Embeds
When you embed SVGs inline within HTML or React components (e.g. <svg viewBox="0 0 512 512">...</svg>), you gain direct CSS control over every anchor point and path. By assigning stroke="currentColor" or CSS variables to your fills, your icons automatically adapt to dark mode changes, hover states, and focus indicators without reloading external network requests.
